The Babylon Gallery is housed in a former malt house and brewery with an enviable view overlooking the River Great Ouse. We are right in the heart of Ely’s riverside just 7 minutes’ walk from the Station with direct links to London, Norwich and Peterborough. We make a perfect venue for both those in East Cambridgeshire and further afield. Our venue is fully licensed with a pop-up bar for events.
There is plentiful free all day parking nearby and throughout the whole of the City.
We offer private hire of our space, ideal for any small scale events from training sessions, conferences, private parties & celebrations to film nights (digital kit available) and music gigs. We now have a small portable stage, perfect for intimate performances.
You can have access to our kitchen area for food/drink preparation with tea & coffee making facilities. Although we don’t have in-house catering we can discuss you bringing your own or we can bring in local catering partners to fit your event budget.
We are fully accessible with a disabled toilet.
It’s a small and intimate venue and capacity is normally 20 for meetings, 45 seated, 60 standing.
