 A training session focusing on outdoor events stewarding, in preparation for the 'Moon, 2Faced Dance'  outdoor event on the 23rd October at Ely Market.
 
Dates:

  • Event - Wednesday 23rd October, 11am - 3.30pm, Ely Market Square, Market Pl, Ely, CB7 4NT
Training
This training will look at stewarding duties, roles and responsibilities. You will have the chance to look at events from the perspective of the performers and the perspective of the public. Looking at what would be their concerns, questions, hazards and needs? You will learn about chain of command, control point, equipment and steward deployment. 
 
Throughout the training you will explore case studies of events and look at the specifics for the 'Moon' performance. It will be useful training for anyone who is already involved with or is  interested in event stewarding. 
 
Event
You will meet at Ely Market square prior to the event, for recap, site inspection and delegating of roles. 
 
 
'Moon' performance - A spectacular dance and circus production by 2Faced Dance Company. Follow Jack as he meets The Moon and together they embark on an amazing adventure. Watch Jack’s world come to life with chalk, aerial hoop, breath-taking dance and a host of mess and mayhem. Contains British sign language and audio description. Aimed at young children aged 3-9 yrs and their families.
Performances: 12noon & 2.15pm (15 min touch tour & 25 min performance)
