Skills Share : Facilitated Networking Day : Market Place Project

Join the Market Place ArtatWork CIC along with Market Place creative agents Ali and Colin on Saturday 30th March (9.30am - 5pm) in Wisbech for "An Introduction to Developing and Sharing your Creative Practice and Audiences.

This is a facilitated networking day where you will be sharing and developing ideas, meeting other creative practitioners from the surrounding area, and finding out more about Market Place and how we can support your creative practice.  

We also want to hear suggestions from you about what skills you’d like to develop to enhance your own creative practice, and the sort of skill sharing events you’d like to see Market Place offer in the future.  Market Place Creative Agents Ali and Colin will be there to chat with on the day too.

This event is for you if you’re an established and practising artist, new to art and creative practice, a maker, crafts person, student looking someone delivering creative activities  looking to share and develop their own skills.

Our networking & skills sharing days are open to anyone wishing to contribute to building the creative offer in the market towns of Forest Heath and Fenland, and/or wishing to develop your own creative practice and audiences.

The day will be facilitated by ArtatWork CIC, and will provide an introduction to the following:
-          Find & share ways of engaging hard to reach groups, audiences and participants
-          Project planning & delivery through practical planning
-          Fundraising
-          An insight into working with vulnerable people
-          Creative evaluation, including live graphic recording from illustrator Rebecca Osborne

ArtatWork CICHolly and Melanie met 12 years ago on an Art & Well-being degree course. In May 2016 they got together to create ArtatWork. They now design and deliver art workshops and projects in the community with people experiencing issues with mental and physical health, children, families and for businesses to improve confidence, self-esteem and promote well-being. They have worked for Norwich City Council, Latitude Festival and Aviva to name a few.

Tickets, which must be pre-booked here [ ]  are £5 per person, including lunch, resources and materials on the day.  Travel expenses will also be reimbursed.
