Watercolour Collage with Lesley Munro (SOLD OUT)

Watercolour Collage with Lesley Munro (SOLD OUT)

Time: 10:30 am – 3:30 pm
Venue: Babylon Gallery, Ely

Are you looking for further ways to develop your style and technique? To bring your page to light?

We can often impose constraints when using watercolour and we accept certain boundaries that are just waiting to be busted through. In this workshop Lesley will tap into a number of ways to get beyond these limitations by being intuitive and spontaneous with collage. Using painted papers, attendees will layer geometric shapes to create collages that are stunning in their simplicity. Paint your own papers or re-purpose scraps and snippets – this is a creative process, it is messy, unpredictable and beautiful. This workshop is suitable for those who are new to collage/mixed media but have experience of drawing techniques and painting and wish to build their confidence and unlock creative freedom in their work.
