Our stunning Christmas Exhibition will feature work by the much-celebrated Storm Thorgerson and StormStudios.  ‘This man designed half your record collection’.

Although many will not know Storm by name, his iconic designs appear on the album covers of some of the world’s most famous bands.

We first hosted an exhibition of some of his best known photographs in 2009. Storm had a special connection to Cambridgeshire – it was his stomping ground.  He attended both primary and high schools in Cambridge (Brunswick Primary School and the Cambridgeshire High School for Boys), and would often hang out in Ely with his friends.”

This exhibition at the Babylon Gallery is set to feature a range of Storm’s work created throughout his 30 year career with Storm Studios. The exhibition will also feature the cover from Biffy Clyro, Opposite, which was the last album sleeve conceived by Storm, and poignantly was photographed on the day he died in 2013.  Music fans will be able to buy limited edition prints books, and other work created by this immensely talented designer.
