Our first BaseCoat Networking event for young people aged 18-30. This will include a talk and Q&A with Kavous and Julia from originalprojects; followed by a chance to connect with other young creative in the local area.

Details: The event will begin at 6pm with an online presentation from Kovous and Julia at originalprojects; about their work, followed by a Q&A. After this there will be a chance to network and mingle with the other attendees. Refreshments will be provided.
Originalprojects; is an artist-led organisation led by Kaavous Clayton and Julia Devonshire, collaborating with contemporary artists and communities to create ambitious projects tailored to the local environment. Established in 2016, they focus on fostering sustainable relationships through art. Directors Kaavous Clayton and Julia Devonshire bring expertise in artist-led initiatives and cultural regeneration.
Originalprojects; engages in various activities such as exhibitions, workshops, and community events, promoting inclusivity and sustainability. Their vision is to innovate in Great Yarmouth and contribute positively to the world through art and community engagement, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
This event is organised by Anna Benari from BaseCoat Collective, and is for young people aged 18-30 looking to connect with fellow young creatives in the area. However, anyone over 30 who feels they're early on in their career and this event would be useful to them is welcome too.
