Taking an indoor show to an outdoor audience and creating performance work for outdoor spaces

Delivered by theatre and dance specialists Spinning Wheel Theatre and Kate Flatt Projects; this online seminar will guide participants through the steps to consider when turning an indoor performance into an outdoor one and will share insights into creating performance work specifically for outdoor spaces.

Topics discussed:

  • Converting work from indoors to outdoors, featuring two case studies – presented by Becca Gibbs, Spinning Wheel Theatre
  • The creative and artistic approach to making outdoor work and what inspires the work – presented by Choreographer and Movement Director Kate Flatt OBE
  • The practicalities and considerations for making work for outdoors and where to show it – presented by Producer, Lia Prentaki

This session is aimed at people in the early stages of developing theatre or dance work for outdoor spaces.

There will be a 30-minute Q&A at the end.

Time: 2pm to 3.45pm.

Price: £5 per person.
