Real-world encounters with professionals across the creative industries
Creative Briefs is an 8-week classroom-based programme aimed at young people aged 11 to 15. The briefs are designed to stimulate real-world thinking by connecting students with creative professionals.
Each Creative Brief focuses on 3 essential skills: Aiming High and two others which are unique to that discipline's project. Students have the opportunity to practise and reflect on the skills they use throughout the project. Teachers can evaluate progress throughout the project, supported by The Skills Builder Universal Framework.
With a range of resources and interactive sessions led by a mix of artists, cultural professionals and organisations across 12 creative industries, participants will gain essential skills through immersing themselves in a creative practice.
The Briefs and accompanying sessions are designed to be delivered remotely or in person, with the schools’ involvement being supported by Babylon ARTS. We offer three packages - Bronze / Silver / Gold, which can be tailored to your needs:
