Creative Careers Day

30/06/2020, 9.30am-14:30Various Dates

Creative Industries Discovery Day

Cambridge Junction is the arts centre where art, technology and life meet – a creative hub for people and ideas where audiences and artists explore, experience and are inspired by art, entertainment and learning.

Cambridge Junction’s Creative Learning programme inspires and nurtures creativity, especially in young people aged 11 to 21 – enabling us to cultivate creative, compassionate and innovative thinkers as well as provide pathways into employment in the creative and cultural industries.

This event offers young people an opportunity to develop insight and knowledge from those that work in the creative industry, connecting the future creative workforce with industry professionals.

Held in conjunction with Creative and Cultural Skills, our Creative Careers Day provides insight into the wide range of job opportunities in the arts and exposure to what happens behind the scenes. Young people are able to participate in a meet-the-staff round-table question and answer session about entry routes, career paths and individual experiences, take part in a ‘behind-the-scenes’ tour, and participate in two creative workshops.

Event time: 09:30 - 14:30

This event is aimed at schools, alternative provisions and community groups. For further information and group reservations, please contact Beth Bailey, Creative Learning Producer – beth.bailey@junction.co.uk.

There is a maximum number of 60 students that can take this opportunity.
