Workshop / Talk at School

Ely Museum are a local history museum based in Ely's historic Old Gaol.

Ely Museum has a popular learning programme which welcomes hundreds of children to the museum each year to enjoy sessions covering everything from pre-history through to the homes of the 1950s. A member of our education team could come to schools to talk about working in education in a museum capacity.

Other members of the team, such as the Curators, Community Engagement Officer & museum assistants could also come to talk about general careers in the heritage sector including curatorial work, events in the heritage sector and communications including marketing and social media.

Until the autumn term of 2020, we wouldn't be able to welcome any groups to the museum due to our redevelopment but would be able to come to the schools/another location.

For further information and to arrange a visit to your school, please contact Emily Allen, Community Engagement Officer – emily@elymuseum.org.uk
