Our gallery & gift shop are open Tuesday - Sunday 12pm - 4pm
FREE entry, donations welcome.
The Gallery is wheelchair accessible. Assistance Dogs are welcome. An accessible toilet is available during events, at other times there is an accessible public toilet within 3 minutes' walk of Babylon Gallery, at Ship Lane car park.
Covid Measures
As from 1st April 2022, the wearing of face goverings in the gallery is optional. Hand sanitizer is available for use. The Gallery is kept well ventilated by having the door open. We ask that people respect everyone's personal space and do not come into the Gallery if they feel unwell.

Located on the picturesque riverside in Ely, Babylon Arts is an independent arts development charity run by ADEC (Arts Development in East Cambridgeshire). We have an enviable reputation for delivering a high quality, wide ranging programme of visual art, film, live events and significant education and community based projects in Ely and beyond.
Ely is England's second smallest city and the main market town in East Cambridgeshire. We are a short 12 minute train journey from Cambridge and 15 miles north. The Gallery is a 5 minute riverside walk from the station. We are the City’s second most visited attraction second only to Ely Cathedral, welcoming over 25,000 visitors a year. Thanks to Arts Council funding we can now programme live events and art screenings in the gallery alongside our regularly changing programme of exhibitions.
Gift Shop
Our little gift shop in the Gallery is full of gorgeous gifts lovingly made by local artists and craftspeople. Our cards by Green Pebble also feature work from local and regional artists. It's a great way to support both our arts charity and artists.
