"A Matter of Taste"
Nancy Mead took part in the Babylon Young Curators Programme, 2023; a professional development opportunity for young people aged 18 – 25. As a Babylon Young Curator, Nancy presented an exhibition called ‘A Matter of Taste’ at Babylon Gallery in Ely, from 5th October - 29th October 2023
‘A Matter of Taste’ was a visual feast which explored the aesthetics of food in a mouth-watering display of paintings, photography and sculpture.
Food can be used to unify, celebrate and entice, evoking memories, smells and tastes. Life’s great meals are unforgettable - delicious home-cooked food shared with those we love is an essential pleasure.
