Our current exhibition East Cambridgeshire Schools Competition is now open. Come and see work from the talented young people aged 4-18 who study in East Cambridgeshire. We're pleased to offer this exhibition in colloboration with Ely-Hereward Rotary Club. The exhibtion ends on Sunday 13 January. We're open 12-4pm Tuesday - Sunday.

We'll be launching our Album Art Exhibition- next Friday night 6-8pm (18/1) with cool grooves from our in-house DJ.  The Mayor of Ely will be announcing the winner of our £100 top prize on the night. Over 65 pieces of vinyl art will be displayed alongside some new flimited edition 'Vinyl Roughs' from StormStudios.

Babylon Gallery, Waterside, Ely, CB7 4AU

Located on the picturesque riverside in Ely, Babylon Arts is an independent arts development charity run by ADEC (Arts Development in East Cambridgeshire). We have an enviable reputation for delivering a high quality, wide ranging programme of visual art, film, live events and significant education and community based projects in Ely and beyond.

Ely is England's second smallest city and the main market town in East Cambridgeshire. We are a short 12 minute train journey from Cambridge and  15 miles north. The Gallery is a 5 minute riverside walk from the station. We are the City’s second most visited attraction second only to Ely Cathedral, welcoming over 25,000 visitors a year. Thanks to Arts Council funding we can now programme live events and art screenings in the gallery alongside our regularly changing programme of exhibitions. Find out more about the refurbishment.

Gift shop

Our little gift shop in the Gallery is full of gorgeous gifts lovingly made by local artists and craftspeople. Our cards by Green Pebble also feature work from local and regional artists. It's a great way to support both our arts charity and artists.

Featured artists include: Anna Osborne, Claire Cockayne, Andrew Jones, Jacki Perry and Nadine Anderson, now including bags and textiles from The Hoodie and the Hare.
